Drive Erasure

Drive Erasure Software Permanently Erase Data, without leaving the traces.

Wipora Erase Drive Erasure permanently destroys data on hard drives, SSDs, NVMe and USB storage in laptops, desktops and servers. It generates a tamper-evident certificate of data destruction for every drive, giving you the audit trail you need for data-protection laws such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and India's DPDP Act. Deploy it from a USB drive, over the network with PXE, or across your whole fleet from the central console.

Proof

A signed, publicly verifiable certificate for every drive

Who It Is For

Find your team below.

ITAD and recycling companies

Process drives in volume with a signed certificate for every one. A client audit takes minutes, not days.

Enterprise IT

Retire laptops and servers without data leaving the building. Erase on site, keep the certificate, hand over clean hardware.

Data centres

Decommission storage in place. The software picks the fastest safe method each drive supports seconds for drives that support cryptographic erase.

IT service providers

Wipe a customer's machine before resale or return, and hand them proof.

What You Get

Erases every type of drive

HDD, SSD, NVMe and USB storage, each with the right method. Flash and spinning disks need different treatment, and the software knows the difference.

Certificate for every drive

Digitally signed and publicly verifiable. Anyone with the certificate can confirm it is genuine and unaltered.

Chooses the strongest method the drive supports

The software asks each drive what it can do, then uses the most thorough method available not the same slow overwrite for everything.

Worn drives still get processed

One bad sector does not abandon the job. The software works around it, completes the rest, and reports the exact count on the certificate.

Survives a dropped connection

If a cable disconnects mid-wipe, the software waits for the drive, finds it again and continues from where it stopped.

Checks its own work

After erasing, it reads the drive back and confirms the data is gone. The certificate states what was checked and how much.

Runs unattended at scale

Over PXE, start a room of machines and collect the certificates afterwards.

Pay per drive

One drive, one licence. Licences are consumed only when a drive is actually wiped.

Sanitization Standards Implemented

Most tools still advertise NIST 800-88 Rev. 1. Revision 2 became final in September 2025 we implemented Rev. 2. We do support Different Data Eraser Standards: NIST Clear · NIST Purge · IEEE 2883 Clear · IEEE 2883 Purge · Single Pass Zero · DoD 3-Pass · DoD 7-Pass.

How It Works

  1. Boot

From USB, or over the network with PXE.

  2. Select

Choose the drives and the erasure method.

  3. Erase

Watch progress per drive, with the current stage shown.

  4. Certify

Download the signed certificate, or sync it to the console.

Deploy It Your Way

USB drive

One machine at a time. Boot from USB, run the job, and save the report to the same drive. The certificate saves there too.

PXE network boot

Many machines at once, with no USB to carry. Machines boot from the network and appear in the console ready for work.

Central console

Issue jobs to networked machines and watch progress live. Reports come back to one place automatically.

One Platform Behind Every Product

The same software, the same reports, whichever product you license.

Multiple deployment options

Boot one machine from a USB drive, boot many at once over the network with PXE, or drive a whole fleet from the central console.

Cloud console

One dashboard for every machine, drive, report and certificate. Track what was processed, by whom and when, and manage licences across teams and sites.

Signed, verifiable reports

Every report is digitally signed. Scan the QR code on any certificate to confirm it is genuine no login required.

Global wiping standards

IEEE 2883-2022 and NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2, the current revision plus legacy patterns, including DoD 5220.22-M, for policies that still name them.

Offline & Online Reports saving

Reports can be saved to the same USB you booted from and synced to the console as well.

Pay-per-Device licensing

One drive, one license. Buy what you need and use it when you need it.
